Why Everyday Should Be Christmas

Dec 12, 2021 | Jesus, Personal Responsibility, Spiritual Growth

Why do we celebrate the coming of the creator of the universe for only one day? It shouldn’t just be a day long thing, or even a month long thing. Celebrating Christ is an everyday journey.
This week NextGen Pastor Vernon King Jr. gives an important sermon on making room for Christ in your life, and why our celebrations of the lord should extend well past Christmas Day. Here’s Why Everyday Should be Christmas and celebration of the creator, Jesus Christ.
After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. -Matthew 2:9-11 NIV
