Who Is Your Father?

Oct 24, 2021 | Father God, Harvest Month, Jesus, McRae, Chris, Spiritual Growth

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” – Romans 8:15

Lead Pastor Chris McRae discusses heavenly Fatherhood and the importance of it in our lives.
No matter what our earthly experience is with our biological fathers, we need to know that we’ve got a heavenly Father whose love is perfect and eternal. His love towards his children is unconditional and sacrificial. He finished the groundwork, He filed the paperwork, He completed the bloodwork, and He did the final work all in order to adopt us into His kingdom.
The process of adoption is completed through Jesus Christ, whom the Father sacrificed in order to be in relationship with us. We are able to call upon the name of the Lord of lords as Abba Father because of this sacrifice. As we receive the Spirit of adoption, we are called sons and daughters of God. What a glorious thing!
