What’s My Job?

Oct 4, 2020

We are the church!
God has called us to be light in the darkness.

The church is not just a building that we gather in to worship God; the church is the body of Christ- people- with Jesus as the head (Eph 1:22-23). When we gather together and seek His face, we are healed, transformed and set free; but it doesn’t stop there! A Pastor’s job is to equip the saints for the work of ministry (Eph 4:11-12). As we, they body of Christ, go out and be the church to the unchurched, we will see our world changed for God.

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:11-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
