What It Really Costs You To Be a Disciple | Connected Through The Cross Part 3
“It should affect your finances, because they’re not your finances, they’re His. It should affect your marriage, because it’s not your marriage, it’s the one that He gave you. It should affect the way you work, the way you live, the way that you talk, the way that you treat others. The life I live now, I live by faith in the Son of God. We were crucified with Christ.”
Lead Pastor Chris McRae continues the mini-series Connected Through The Cross and talks this week about what it really costs you to be a Disciple of Jesus Christ, and how the Cross also affected many others. It cost God His only begotten Son. It cost Jesus His life. And it will cost us, as well. It costs us to be able to live the life that He has called us to live.
“So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.” – Luke 14:33 NKJV
