Jesus’ primary message was preaching about the Kingdom of God, that He brought His rule and reign to earth. His Kingdom is about being in relationship with the King, Jesus, and with those we are connected to. He modeled for us what it looked like to live as a man on the earth, in relationship with Father and empowered by the Holy Spirit. He preached to the multitude, but He was in close relationship with the twelve disciples. Looking at Jesus and the account of the early church in Acts 2, it is clear that we need to be connected so that we can all grow.

Ephesians 4:16-18

Speaking the truth in love, grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body,

joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share,

causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

More than just a platform to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom, we are called to make disciples – equipping each of us for the work of ministry: for ourselves, our natural and spiritual families, and the people around us. If you’re not sure where to begin, there are several next steps that you can take to get connected – grow spiritually, find community, and continue on the journey of being who God has called you to be.
