Sunday Morning Service with Guest Alan Wright
March 8 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
We are committed to providing a spiritually rich environment where children can grow in their faith and deepen their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
For Children Birth-3rd grade, sign-in at the Kingdom Kids registration desk.
4th and 5th graders will be released to Impact following worship in the Worship Center.
It is our prayer that everyone who comes to Sojourn would know Jesus and continue to grow into His image, would become a disciple of Jesus, seeking first His Kingdom, would know the love of the Father, the grace of the Lord Jesus and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, and would be committed to advancing the Kingdom of God.
Guest Speaker Alan Wright
Alan and Anne, his wife of 33 years, make their home in Winston-Salem, NC where Alan has served as Sr. Pastor of the historic, dynamic, multi-site Reynolda Church (EPC) for over 22 years. Always devoted to sharpening his mind (Phi Beta Kappa from UNC-CH and valedictorian of his Columbia Theological Seminary class), but his heart was touched by the Spirit in deep and profound ways in 1993. That touch of grace began a healing journey in which Alan discovered how the love of God mends the emptiness left from a broken home.
Since 1997, Alan has authored five books: Free Yourself, Be Yourself (formerly entitled Shame Off You), A Childlike Heart, Lover of My Soul, God Moments and Grace X 2. In addition to his pastoral leadership and weekly preaching, Pastor Wright also serves as President of Sharing the Light Ministries which produces the national radio broadcast “Sharing the Light with Alan Wright” heard on 400 stations across America and sponsors conferences nationally and internationally. In proclaiming a bold, unmixed message of grace, Alan is known for the question that starts every sermon: “Are you ready for some good news?” and for the triumphant declaration that concludes every message: “And that’s the gospel!” Learn more about Alan at https://sharingthelight.org/about-us/meet-alan-wright
