Sunday Morning Service

The number of people in the service varies weekly. With limited space, we may not be able to adhere to your specific desire for Social Distancing. The Fellowship Hall is equipped with a closed circuit live feed for those who would like to participate that way.
Facial coverings are welcomed, but not required.
Children’s Ministry is available for Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) and Kid’s Church (1st – 3rd grade), check-in upon arrival. Impact (4th – 6th grade) meets in the Prayer Room following worship. Online Lessons for Kingdom Kids (2 years – 3rd Grade) are available each week online. New lessons air Sundays at 9:45 AM CT on YouTube and Kingdom Kids Social Media Platforms.
It is our prayer that everyone who comes to Sojourn would know Jesus and continue to grow into His image, would become a disciple of Jesus, seeking first His Kingdom, would know the love of the Father, the grace of the Lord Jesus and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, and would be committed to advancing the Kingdom of God.

Lead Pastor, Elder
In his high school years, Chris was set free from anger and depression after an encounter with the Holy Spirit, and a passion was stirred in him to preach the good news of Jesus Christ to the broken and the lost. Chris is passionate about people- leading people to encounter the love of the Father, the truth of Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit. A second generation Pastor, Chris has a heart for equipping the body of Christ.
Chris is a graduate of Christ for the Nations and The King’s University. Chris first joined staff at Sojourn Church in Carrollton, Texas in 1996, and has served as Pastor of Children’s Ministry, Youth and Families. In January 2020, Chris began serving as Lead Pastor. Chris and Vanessa have been married since 1998 and have four children.
