Close The Door

The main reason we don’t forgive others is because we don’t realize how much God has forgiven us.

One of the ways that we open the door and give the devil access in our lives is through unforgiveness. Like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die, unforgiveness is a trap of the enemy that keeps us in bondage. When we choose to forgive, release and bless those who have hurt us, we shut the door to the enemy and step back into God’s grace and favor as children of God, joint-heirs in Christ.
Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. – John 10:7-9

“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. – Matthew 6:14-15
